Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference 2023

30 - to 31 October 2023

Vienna House Andel's Berlin

Autonomous driving, zero-emission drives, digital networking and the last mile are among the major challenges facing the commercial vehicle industry. It is about nothing less than actively shaping resilient strategies for the future. In addition, the corona pandemic provided a digitalisation boost. Against this background, the Dekra Future Congress Commercial Vehicles will take place on 30/31 October 2023 in Berlin.

The event, organised by Dekra and ETM Verlag, brings together top-class experts from the vehicle and supplier industry, the transport and logistics sector, politics and science. They will present and discuss the solutions of tomorrow - and their consequences. Of course, we offer simultaneous translation (German-English, English-German) for all presentations.

Commercial vehicle technology, digitalisation and the last mile

The programme guarantees two days full of interesting lectures, panel discussions and workshops. In order to offer participants the widest possible range of valuable information, the event is based on three thematic pillars: Commercial Vehicle Technology, Digitalisation & Networking and Last Mile.

Lectures, discussions, trade exhibition, networking

Since its first edition in 2015, the event has established itself as the central plattform of the commercial vehicle industry. More than 350 experts, scientists and top managers from renowned companies from the transport and logistics industry were guests at the last congress. This makes the event with the accompanying trade exhibition the perfect networking event.

The topics at a glance

  • Commercial vehicle technology: In the lecture strand on commercial vehicle technology, experts from the vehicle industry and industry professionals will exchange views on the latest developments in the areas of active safety, zero-emission drives and automated driving and present the benefits they offer for commercial fleets. In addition to applications for battery-electric drives, this year's programme focuses on hydrogen as an energy carrier for trucks, be it fuel cell systems or H2 combustion engines.
  • Digitalisation: The digitalisation and connectivity strand deals with the security of data flows and the transparency that is nevertheless required, for instance by means of logistics portals. Also on the programme: standardisation in telematics, the influence of start-ups and the telematics portal eurotransport connect.
  • Last Mile: The Last Mile is a new component of the Future Congress. In addition to representatives of the established commercial vehicle manufacturers, new players will also have their say. The focus will be on how low-emission and efficient transport can be achieved - for example, through alternative vehicle drives, innovative vehicle concepts or new delivery options.
